I live in the Jacksonville area (Orange Park). I know there are some support groups near me, but none specifically for the band. Anyone out there?

There is a LAP-BAND® support group in Jacksonville. Go to the Obesity Help (obesityhelp.com) site, and look for the LAP-BAND® forum. I think the woman who runs the group is named Wanda.

Hi Lisa,

I live in Jacksonville too. I am going to the seminar at St Vincent's tomorrow night on lap-banding. Have you already been banded?
