Any bandsters in the Daytona area??

I had my band placed March 10th, 2008. Had my 3rd fill 3 days ago. I think I have finally found my 'magic spot'. Have 7cc total. Would like to talk to others in the area who have been banded as well..........Kim

I live just south of you near the Flagler/Volusia border. I was banded Oct. 2007 and have lost 50 pounds and dropped three pant sizes! Dr. Marema from U.S. Bariatrics in St. Augustine did my surgery. He's great!

I know you've already had your band implanted. However, for those who are thinking about it, there is an educational seminar scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 2, at Florida Hospital Flagler, 60 Memorial Medical Pkwy, 1st Floor, Classroom D. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at 6. During the 90 minute sessions, you can learn about weight loss surgery, ask questions and talk with medical professionals and others considering the procedure.
