You may have to make a trip to Washington, D.C. I havent heard of anything up your way. And perhaps even closer I think someone does it at Hopkins in Baltimore, MD.

Where are you getting you band done? My best friend lives in Wilmington and she came up here to Long Island to have her band placed by my doc. She said they do mostly RNY in DE. because most of the insurance companies won't approve it.

I am so new to this since I am just beginning my journey. My mother had gastric Bypass so I know a lot about it but only a tiny bit about the banding. I just think the Lap Band is more for me than the bypass since it is less radical. I have my consultation with my surgeon in May but where can I get more specific info about the ports, fills, cc's etc before then? Any advice will be great. Also, my mother got a lot out of her support group. Any ideas where one is in Chester County, Pa or New castle County, DE?
