Re: Where is all the CT Lapbanders??

Thank you so much for all the advice and support. I really appreciate it soo much. I have been learning more and more each day and its great. Monday I began eating healthier lots of fruit and vegs, staying away from bread and all the little junk foods. I want to be a step ahead when I get my surgery. I found a Dr that my primary physition reccomended and his name is Dr. Valin. he is in New haven and I am going to talk to him on Monday afternoon. I cant wait to start my new life, i need a change... for me! Well Happy New Year to everyone!
If anyone has any advice for my first consultation please let me know. Thanks
Jenna

Renee sounds like an awesome run!!! I going to start to run on February 1st . I'll be honest I haven't tried since i lost my current weight the last time my butt Jiggled so bad it was embarrasing. So I set a goal for running .. I love the treadmill not a big fan of the eliptical trainer I can do 45 min on treadmill easy at 3.5 MPH so I figure to run I'll have to get up to at least 5.0 MPH !! How long have you been running?

Re: Where is all the CT Lapbanders??

Had a good time at the meeting on Wednesday night at Yale. It was a small group 3 post-op and one pre. It was nice to chat and put a face with people from the board. We should try and have a get together on the weekend or something like that and is not as formal. Any suggestions?

I havent started yet, but my husband runs so he is going to help out. I have the Couch to 5K saved, just waiting on the right time to start. My butt's a jiggla too!! The run isnt until September, so I have time. Even if I run some and walk some, finishing it will be enough for me :) That is awesome about the treadmill for you! Elliptical is HARD lol, I can do like 15-20 min before i feel like I might die LOL :)

Congratulations Sil!!!

Don't you love Dr. Roberts? He did my surgery and he is awesome. I also had an easy procedure and was up and about in no time. I am hoping to go to the support group meeting next month. Maybe I'll see you there!!

Enjoy the ride!!!
