South beach diet newbie

Hi, I'm just starting the South Beach Diet--today is day 2. I've been avoiding diets like this forever but since I'm just not losing weight doing nothing I thought I'd try this.
I'd like to discuss anything regarding the South Beach Diet with anyone who is interested. Please let me hear from you!!! Thanks

For the most part I eat like they say to eat in the 1st stage of the south beach diet. Lean protein, low carb veggies, berries, low carb yougurt, and nuts. When I eat like this my cravings are alot less. The problem is when you fall off the "bandwagon" the weight seems to come back quicker. I never go on to the next stages because when I eat higher carb veggies, brown rice and pasta and whole grains my cravings return.

Weight on 8/7/08= 256
Weight on 9/18/08=250.5
