My pre-op diet is basically just no-carb diet for 10 days. I'm doing it for two weeks just for the heck of it. All things considered this is a fairly humane program compared to some I've seen. I have no idea which is better, but you know what they say, trust your doctor. I'm glad Kirshenbaum has a relatively painless program. I also like the fact that he has no psych exam. I prefer to be treated as if I am presumptively competent to make my own decisions.
Thanks for the info. That really doesn't seem bad @ all...I didn't even know about the no psych exam.....

Hi skyeblu79 and Shesha and everybody else coming to Denver;

How are you doing with getting ready for the band?

I'm here in Denver too and it seems like we have to get ready for yet another round of snow for the coming weekend.
If I can help you with anything please let me know- we all have to stick together!

Carola

I am doing well. I have all of my shopping complete - pre and post op food/supplies. I have verified that I can continue taking the meds that I am currently on (just gotta crush 'em), travel arrangments are complete and I have a suite at the kennel reserved for my Ozzy (that's the dog, not my husband):D . I have my first fill scheduled for 3/5, and I'll be booking my airfare for that shortly. I speak with the nutritionist on Monday 1/8.

Mentally, I think I am prepared.

Sheila

Hi,

Everything is coming really good other than time going slow. I don't have my phone consult until the 16th so I really haven't started to do much. I am mainly just gathering information. I did get a pill crusher and I ordered some different protein powders that someone recommended to try.

I hope you are making it through the snow okay:) Thanks
