Sizes Lost- stupid question

Okay, when people talk about losing 4 sizes or whatever, I don't know how that's measured. Maybe someone can help answer my question... Is it based on the numbers? Like if I started at a 30 and am down to a 24, is that 6 sizes? Or is it based on the sizes you see in the stores, so that would be 3 sizes? (28, 26, 24). I know this is a silly fundamental question, but I don't know the difference or how to tell what I've done. I started at a 32/30 and I'm down to a 24. HELP! :)

I love this room... ya'll are so awesome!

Re: Sizes Lost- stupid question

I personally count it in increments - so for me, moving from a size 24 down to an 18 is 3 sizes down.

Same here, I went from an Australian 20 to an Australian 12 - 4 sizes because its 4 increments.

Re: Sizes Lost- stupid question

FF, first off congratulations on your wt loss!!! Plus sizes go down in increments of 2 so if you were snug in your 30/32 count it as 32 and go down by 2's. So you are down 5 whole sizes!!!!!!

Re: Sizes Lost- stupid question

:) Thanks slim!

Okay, so increments... I can work with that. My friend asked how many sizes I'd lost and I said I didn't know, I didn't want to ask how I would count! lol. I know it's silly, but oh well.

I'm almost down below 300, I'm so excited! I can't believe this is actually happening for me. It's like I finally have a hold of my life and my body rather than it having a hold on me.

Re: Sizes Lost- stupid question

I am down to an 18 from a 24/26 so I say that I am down 4 sizes, 24 to 22, to 20 to 18.
