Ktbee,
Yea, I've been diagnosed since 94, the year we got married. We did about two years of oral (clomid) and 4 years of injections (gonadatropins) We did get pregnant once, but lost it at 11 weeks. We kind of gave up (my husband never lost heart, though) and I threw myself into a business that I had bought to keep my mind off of things. Two years after that, 8 years of infertility in all, I got pregnant with our first. Thirteen months later, I got pregnant with the second. Totally a God thing, both of them. This is the first time in my life that I am being treated for my pcos without the intent of getting pregnant. They have also said that I have sleep apnea, so that is what qualified me for the surgery. I'm hoping that this nightmare goes away with weight loss. Hopefully, it will for you as well, and you will spontaneously get pregnant like we did. Best of luck. I see that you are being banded just after me, we will be on this trek together! Keep me posted and I'll do the same.
