Hi everyone, i am waiting for an approval for my band. I just wanted to know if anyone here has heard or used Dr. Andrew Hajduczekfor Lap Band surgery? He's located in the LA-ORANGE county. Thanks!

Welcome to the website. I live in Van Nuys and have not heard of this surgeon either. There are new surgeons popping up every day that are doing this procedure now.

Ask his office to give you a couple of his patients to speak with.

I live in Lakewood and I never heard of him. I actually had my surgery with Dr. Kuri.

Well, thanks for your responses. I really want to make the right decision. I have met my Dr and he has a very nice bed side manner. I felt very comfortable with him. He has ALOT of expericence with lapriscopic surgeries. He's done more bypass surgeries then Lap Band, but he said he's been trained through Inamed for banding procedure and if im lucky my insurance will cover the whole procedure. He also said that they use the new band from Inamed i think it's the VG band? My BMI is 70 and he said that would work the best for me. I really have to lose this weight. Im in alot of physical pain and ive been heavy most of my life. I never lose hope, but im counting on this to be the tool i need to get me through the tough times. So if you all have anything to add i would love to hear from ya! Thanks! P.S. I have e-mailed my Dr's office and asked if i can speak to some of his Lap Band patients. Thanks for the advice PENNI!

Some things to remember about being a member of LBT.

When we all joined,there are rules and guidelines we all agreed to follow. One of them is to show respect for other members. This thread alone is going against that guideline. Everyone has a right to express their opinion. Everyone has a right to either agree or disagree with that opinion but NO ONE has a right to resort to name calling.

On LBT everyone is entitled to their opinion on any particular doctor good, bad or otherwise. Where the line is drawn is when it becomes an advertisement.

There have been several posts with this type of wording and LBT is not the place to advertise for one specific doctor, group, entity, surgery, etc PERIOD!

This website will not be used as an advertisement tool for or against a specific, doctor, group, entity, surgery, etc.

There is nothing wrong with supporting, reporting, or suggesting using a particular doctor, group, entity, etc. When you list the prices that is where it gets dicey not only for LBT but for the doctor. In the future just make a suggestion of contacting them directly to get pricing.
