surgery scheduled

Good Morning Everyone! I just found out that my surgery is going to be scheduled for December 28! I have to go on a two week liquid diet starting on the 14th. That means no Christmas Dinner for me. I am hoping it will be well worth it though. For those of you who were asking about the husband/wife team in Texarkana, I am using Dr. Keilin (the wife), and she seems really great. The Lap Band coordinator there (Betty) seems great, too. Everyone have a great day!!:)

Congratulations and I hope it all goes well for you!!! Sorry about the liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery, I didn't have to do that with Dr. Wellborn, but I did have to do it for 2 weeks after surgery. I didn't get to eat Thanksgiving, but hopefully the mushy stage will help me with Christmas and all those parties. Good luck and keep posting to keep us informed. Also, if your looking for some good protein shakes, I found some good ones at www.revivalsoy.com. They have a variety pack for @$15 and it has all of the flavors. They are really good. Darla

I'm sure it hasn't been an easy decision to make - but hopefully now that you've made it you can relax and dream of a better life ahead!

Where are you having the surgery done?

I am having the surgery done in Texarkana. Dr. Keilin is my surgeon.
