I have no tips for you YET. My surgery is set for Wednesday, so anything I learn between then and your surgery I'll pass it along!

Day 3 out of surgery, does anybody else have trouble burping. I can't seem to. I've used gas x and it helps a lot. I can't believe I'm saying this but I would love to burp. What a dumb issue to have.

It's the stoma swelling, we all go through it.
Welcome newbie!!!

I have just started the wheels in motion to have lap band. I live in NE Mesa, and went and met with Dr Chen at Banner Gateway last week, and start my "6 months." I am looking forward to following everyone's progress!

I looked at my husband on my second day home and said "I cannot believe I am saying this, but I would almost kill someone for the ability to have a REALLY GOOD fart!" UGH!!! The burping will come SOON.

KittenQutie is going to take over the list. She's better at it than I am! ;o)
If you want to join us just send me your email address (PM) and I'll add you and anyone else that wants to join us. It's not a bad idea to get to know lots of banded folks in real time so when you have a question you can just pick up the phone and call. Especially after surgery you'll have lots of questions.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with the whole thing.
