When will I be able to sleep on my belly/side ?

This is determined by YOU! Some people have very little pain and others have more intense pain levels. Some people find it more comfortable to sleep in a reclining chair for the first few days to a week after surgery. Others go to sleep in their beds the first night and can position themselves however they like with no pain at all. MOST people report that the incision closest to the port takes the longest to heal and that they are tender in that area for the longest.
