How do I care for my surgical incisions ?

How do I care for my surgical incisions? Your surgeon’s team of professionals will provide you with instructions. Some surgeons close the incisions with staples, some use a skin glue (dermabond or another brand), some use self-dissolving sutures, etc. Because of the different options a surgeon has, it is VERY important to follow the instructions given to you.
