I loved having Dr. Schwab as my surgeon

I had the LAP-BAND® procedure on October 21, 2008 by Dr. Donald Paul Schwab in Houma, La. He & his staff were so helpful & informative. He treated me like I was his family....not his patient. Anytime I have questions or need a little encouragement he is there for me. In the beginning I wasn't losing much weight (because I was addicted to Coca-Cola and was drinking a liter a day after surgery) When I brought this to his attention he didn't scold me or put me down. He talked me through it & helped me to ween myself off of the soft drinks so that I can now successfully lose the weight a little faster. He told me...."Failing is not an option & I will do anything I can to help you to get this weight off for good...I'm here for you & if you need anything my staff and I will be here to help you every step of the way". I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Dr. Schwab. My scars from surgery are almost completely gone & unnoticeable. I would recommend him to ANYONE!!!!!
