Dr. Cunneen abandoned a patient because they could not longer afford their vitamins. I find this very unprofessional instead of assisting her with possible resources he refuses to follow her anymore. Even after we were able to get my friend the vitamins he refuses to talk to her. not a person I would recommend as a surgeon.

It is pretty apparent that she was not going to follow the program so why should any Dr risk a patient dying on him or her?
The vitamins are the cheapest part of this whole diet so lets not play games, lets get the straight answer as to why this woman could not follow the strict guidelines set forth

I understand how he feels, but I agree that there are some unanswered questions here.
I left a fairly lengthy reply in another thread by the OP.
I have been a victim of Cedars-Sinai myself, so i DO have an understanding of how one can be screwed by them....
But, I think there;s more to this story.....I have invited him to PM me, I hope he does.... :)

I am not making it up. I have a copy of the letter as proof. You do not turn your back on a patient simply because they fell on hard times and could not afford their vitamins. He also had another patient who is in the intensive care fighting for her life because he screwed up her surgery. She now has to have the bypass surgery reversed.
I thought he was a caring doctor until he turned his back on my friend. He would not even take 5 minutes to talk to her after we found someone to donate her vitamins. But can responde to an invitation from a drug addict to come watch her prostitute. Have copies of the emails as proof. He is not what you make him out to be.

Come watch Shari make me money by selling herself. She came to me for her vitamins this is what she is going to have to do to get them. Maybe I will take some photos and send them to you. You might enjoy them. She said you would abandon her if she did not get them.

Ok, this is all very interesting, and the plot does indeed thicken a bit.....but.....
Can you guys explain this a bit?
Who is Sam Taylor, and where does she fit into all of this?
And whatever "copies" of your email you have don't seem to be posting all that well....
So, how about a little "deeper" explanation of what all this is instead of just posting nonsensical crap. I'm as interested as anyone about the inner workings of the creepshow that IS Cedars-Sinai, but you're gonna have to do better this.....

I am the one the Dr. cunneen responded to. This is the email that billy told you about. He asked me to post it. I am the one who sent the original email to dr cunneen and I am the one he responded to instead of the friend he abandoned. It is true he did abandon a friend because she could not afford her vitamins. He chose to respond to my little invitation and not to our friend to talk.

I am quite concerned when I read post like this. There definately sounds like there is more to this story. I hate to see somone slandered like this, without hearing their side or seeing reliable proof. The pasted in e-mail doesn't prove anything.

it is a copy of the email I sent to dr. cunneen and his reply. I am not slandering him I am stating the truth. he abandoned someone because they could no longer afford their vitamins. she is disabled and on social security. one of her checks went towards her vitamins. they cut her payments twice. Instead of receiving $300 a month she now only gets $194.00 a month. I am sorry you do not just turn your back on someone because of their financial status. I will be happy to send you the original email provide me with an email address and I will be happy to do so.

No kidding. I have found Dr Cunneen to be the most caring professional in this field. His thoroughness and attention to my needs has been refreshing.
Methinks someone is making up lies, perhaps a competitor

it is true. The email is posted, I have also seen the letter that was sent to the patient. You do not walk out on a patient because of their financial situation. There are no competitors.
If you read through the postings there is a posting that has his email response. He may seem to be attentive to your concerns at first but there is that other side that apparently no one new about.
