Moving out of state and finding a new doctor for fills and follow-ups

Dh and I just recently revisisted the idea of moving from the east coast (NJ) to the west coast or west (either CA or AZ, possibly TX).

I was banded in NJ and have a great surgeon and he does my fills and follow-ups. If we move west it's not going to be reasonable for me to fly back and forth.

So, is it going to be easy for me to find a new surgeon willing to do my fills/follow-up? We won't be moving until summer at the earliest. I also don't want to have to join their program either. Right now I'm paying 250 for non-fluero fills and am a pretty easy fill patient.

Thanks,
Leena

I would ask your current Dr to make a referral for you and for them to give you a copy of your records for you to take with you to the next Dr.

You might want to locate a Dr out West first and then give your current Dr's office the number and ask them to call and explain your situation.
