I was banded out of state and am looking for a local doc to take over my fills. Not much luck after searching on here, so I am contacting doctors and plan to post the results here to assist others (this list is partially in the Georgia forum as well).
Please understand this is simply what I was told by the doctor and/or office staff via email or over the phone; the costs, requirements, circumstances, et cetera, may change at any time. I have cited the person who gave me the information.

Will perform the adjustments for you as long as you can get the records from your doctor. There is a $550.00 program fee to take you on as a patient. The initial office visit/fill is $200.00 and all subsequent visits/fills are $95.00.

I could not edit my original post for some reason. Just wanted to bump this up for those looking and note that I chose Dr. William Johnson if anybody was curious. I had a good experience with him and have another fill scheduled in a few weeks.
Bumping since I have gotten some questions about fill docs from fellow Georgians. I would love it if others could add to this list.

I apologize. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I saw that you had posted information on fill providers in the area, and saw that we were not among them and wanted to let people know that we too, provide aftercare. We are simply another option. The Fill Centers USA provider in GA is an ARNP. Again, I apologize for the post if it offended anybody.
I just called Dr. William Johnson at Johns Creek and they said they WILL NOT take on any patients who was banded in Mexico. I am so disappointed. Anyone know of another doctor around Atlanta who will take on people banded in MEXICO. I WOULD REALLY PREFER A DOCTOR AT THIS POINT.

I am so sorry; I wish I could edit my original post to include that info (it won't let me) but at least yours here will let people know. I would suggest that you go to Lap Band.com, get a list of local surgeons and just keep calling. Maybe your surgeon in Mexico has recommendations? I am fairly sure (but not 100%) that Dr. Ponce in Dalton will take on patients banded in Mexico; I had heard of him working with patients of Dr. Ariel Ortiz. I wish you the best of luck. If you do find someone, please post his or her info here for others in your situation!
