I like penny's for basics, i live in swords and they've a hugh one with lots of parking. Jeans would definatly be riverisland. Absolutly adore Jane Norman, i get really good stuff in there for work (office stuff) and lovely dresses and tops for casual and night.

Thanks skinny.... I wish it was only since December, I was banded last January....... I lost steadily right up till May or June and then was very bold with rubbish and was up and down but am stuck at the minute. Was out walking everyday aswell but then when the summer was over I stopped exercising and really noticed a difference, cant wait for the fine weather to get back out again. I've gone from size 20/22 to size 14 so I'm chuffed to bits

Hi Elsie I wasnt very imaginative I have to say just kind of stuck to mash with gravy and veg, homemade soup made kind of mushy, basically what you'd give to a baby starting solids

Hi Elsie. Mushies at last! Yay!
I've been eating Tesco low fat baked baked potatoes with cheese (2 mins in the microwave so handy for work, just leave the skins! The cheese isn't proper cheese either). I made shepherds pie and spaghetti bolognaise (but no spaghetti). I find anything with mince easy to eat. And mashed potato mixed with turnip/mashed carrot/parsnips/beans etc. And scrambled egg. I'm not sure if they count as mushies but I didn't really know what else and I was sick of soup!

I googled baby food recipes (for the 6-9 months plus sort of age) and found some inspiration on a few different sites. The main thing is (even when you're starving) eat really slowly. I made the mistake of wolfing down my food one lunch time and it just lodged in my chest. It was really sore!

Enjoy!

PS I can't wait to be able to shop in River Island, Oasis, Bay and (for a treat) Brown Thomas again. (I was a size 14 before having my daughter 5 years ago and I miss "skinny" shops!)

Hi guys, I'm feeling left out I didn't get a letter from ACS, I spoke to a someone today who said some letters only posted today so should get it on Tuesday. They hope to have a surgeon is Dublin by the end of the month. That would be good news. On a different front any suggestions as to what a person should eat in a Chinese restaurant? Going out tonight with two sets of friends who do know about my surgery. Last time I went for a Chinese was only about 5 weeks after the surgery and I only had the soup.. fancy something more tonight but not sure what.

Hi All
I'm so pretty, so pretty as pretty could be!!! (little danse)

Well my arms were carved nicely today at midday. The doctor was ridiculously goodlooking and I pray that he is older than he looks ( I think he probably is, I dectected a gray hair or 2.

Not too sore. Curious as hell but canget my top off for a look. Going back tomoro for a check up so may get a glimpse then.

He took photos of my "very prominent" tummy and thighs for my upcoming lipo job next week and assured me that it was indeed a big job as there was a lot of fat. This was anid poking poor old jelly-belly a few times Thanks kind sir. It was not poor Ellie-Jelly-Belly's finest hour.

Viewing my legs, he looked grave and told me I must accept that my legs would always be robust but he would improve certain areas (from that I take it that even the miracles of modern science are facing too great a challenge when it comes to my legs). He can only safely take out about 3 litres so I suspect i still wont be twiggy when they're out.

Pity they dont sell these yokes in Argos and I could take out a pint or 2 every evening while Im watchin TV............................

Hope all well with the ACS people and Ailbhe and Elsie, my belgian friends.

Wonder what's going on?

I just googled that company and found a story from a Galway based radio station saying that the jobs in the Galway Cosmetic Surgery Company ACs are safe now that this Artisan Construction Co have bought it!!!! Why would property developers buy a cosmetic surgery clinic?

Its a good one alright Holly123 it says in the Irish Mail that "the property developers intend to build Ireland's first full-service cosmetic surgery clinic". It also says that they have built nursing homes and health clinics in the UK. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Please God they'll provide a surgeon for us soon
