| This is the beginning
I began my journey at 324 lbs. I have started my own four week pre-op diet. My doctor only requires one week but I want to be under 300 lbs. before my surgery. I am drinking EAS AdvantEdge and broth. I have recently changed my goal to weigh 275 lbs. on the day of my surgery because I have done so well so far and lost 16 lbs. in one week. I'm sure I can lose the other 34 lbs. in three weeks. That will be a total loss of 50 lbs. before getting the band. I have a lot of support from my family, my doctor, and his staff. I know I can do this. If I accomplish this goal I will be the weight I was six years ago before I got pregnant. It will be the beginning of my long journey. |
