I have to get in 50g of protein everyday, the shakes I've been drinking (Atkins Advantage) I think are really tasty but only have 15g of protein in them. I've been trying to get more by having yogurt and chicken soup, but its just not enough. I'm going to order the flavorless kind from unjury online so I can add it to whatever I want. I just got banded on Thursday and I really like my shakes. I know some people don't like them, but I am an incredibly picky eater already and I think the chocolate ones taste just like chocolate whole milk. They are great right out of the fridge, all nice and cold. Maybe if you haven't tried these ones you can, they go down really easy, good luck!

Thanks Allison...actually the Atkins ones are the ones I have. Favorite flavor is Chocolate Royale....but like you said only 15g of protein in that big can! So it's hard to sip that whole can for so long for only 15g....but I do try. I've started some carnation breakfast with milk and I can get that down easier too. It's better......so I feel a lot better!

my first GAG!!!

YUCK! I just tried the Unjury flavorless (my ass!) in crystal light. First, it turned the CL a nasty color. And it SMELLS!

I tried three sips but I GAGGED. Can't do it. There goes $20.

I'm going to switch to isopure now and see if that's any better. Blechhhh.

You may not like the Isopure either. I bought the orange flavored water and I like it, although it does taste a little chalky. And don't smell it , I drank it for two days before I got a whiff............Still drinking it, though. Best over ice.

I blended the unflavored Unjury in a Diet V8 splash and some ice and it was not bad. You've got to get those proteins in!

The orange Isopure was my least favorite. I liked the Apple Melon flavor. Try that one!

Oh no! I just ordered the unflavored unjury and the chocolate one. I drink mostly crystal light and was wondering if I could pour it in that. I'm gonna try pouring it in things like yogurt, pudding and creamy chicken soup to ass some more protein. I should have ordered it sooner, I've been barely able to get one atkins shake down
:( Hopefully I'll start feeling even better once i can get more protein in.

Keep your protein up for your hair

Enigma-

I make Iced Latte for breakfast using 2 cups ff milk (= 18gr protein), ice, sugarfree syrups (get at Starbucks) and coffee.

Gets me moving. Someone in a one of these forums said to make sure you watch it as if you don't get enough you could start losing hair! That was enough to make me do it!

I love the chocolate. Blend it with skim milk and some ice and it's great. Doesn't at all tast like a "diet" drink.

Thanks Olie....I always wonder because I didn't really have that big of a protein intake before hand until pre-op diet when I thought about what I used to eat...I do carnation breakfasts with milk...I may start doubling those or trying the Atkins again but I have no desire. I can get eggs down pretty easy and that's a lot of protein...

The chocolate unjury is awesome blended with some (1 - 2 TBSP) no sugar added peanut butter, skim milk, 2-3 PKTS Splends and some ice cubes. I blend the milk, pb, splenda and ice first, then add a scoop of chocolate powder and blend just until mixed. THat way it doesn't get all foamy.

Are you sure there's no nasty after taste? How many calories does that drink have. I love that amount of protein in them.
