Sorry you had to postpone, but it sounds like you are on your way.

I just had my band last week, overnight in the hospital, came home and was feeling fine. No gas pain, no shoulder pain. My incisions are glued and 3 of the 5 barely visible. PERFECT!!

Then, WHAM. I got some cold/fever/virus that kicked my behind good. 6 days later and I am finally feeling like I'm on the road to normalcy.

There is nothing like trying to kick an adult cold with children's liquid medication~! ;)

Hello, I also had to cancel my May 5th surgery because of a cold, I had a bronchial infection and I was coughing for ever so I'm glad that I didn't do the surgery, but I am still depressed. I will talk with Nina to see when I can reschedule, but the finances are a little tight too, so that's hard when your self pay...but like someone said, everything happens for a reason and better safe than sorry. I will try again...All the best everyone...

you'll be fine. I had to put off my surgery by a month and I think it gave me more time to mentally prepare and now that it's done I couldn't be happier! sore but happy
