it must be a sign

so i'm sitting here the day before my surgery, and what show is on my favorite channel? Big Medicine, and not just one show, its a marathon. Its actually calming my nerves to watch all these people have weight loss surgery, i can SEE what may go on after surgery in recovery, how the surgery is done, and how much weight they are losing. I also thought it was interesting that the doctors (its a father and son), their daughter/sister has the LAP-BAND®. if anyones up and has TLC check it out! LAP-BAND® here i come!! woo hoo!

Well I'm glad your nerves are getting calm! I find the more educated I am and the more examples I can see I get calm too. Don't forget to check in with us when you feel up to typing...have a great day!

Marine! Good luck today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fill me in with how everything goes!!!! Last night was my last night before my liquid diet started this morning, and I've been working really hard to re-do my bedroom and finish school and blah, blah, blah, so I was really tired and sad about losing food as comfort, and I had to sleep on the couch downstairs because I'm still working on my room. SO as I was laying on the couch watching tv, I came across Big Medicine!!! There was only one more episode left in the marathon, but that one episode really helped me get in a better mood. The one I watched was about gastric bypass, but it was still nice to see how better everyones lives were afterwards, I would have loved to see an episode about the LAP-BAND®! Good luck again!!!!

I was watching that same marathon!!

Watching them band the one fella with Diabetes was interesting. Now I actually (sort of) saw what they did to me. It was pretty cool!

I love watching those shows, helps to remind me why I got the band in the first place.
