You don't even have anything covering your incisions. Are you able to take a shower already? I thought that you would have those butterfly bandaids for a few days. I also like the site of your port. Not too high or too low. You look great! Thank you for sharing!

There is actually this hard, plasticy material covering them. My doctor calls it glue and that's kind of what it feels like. Clear though. The stitches are on the inside. I am able to take a shower. They asked me to wait 24 hours so I took one his afternoon around 4PM. Felt great!

Thank you for sharing your story! I had butterflies reading it...hope mine will go as smoothly as yours. The anesthesia is the part that worries me...coming to in pain.

Hope you are getting rest and taking it easy...cheers to a speedy recovery!
