Waiting for an answer

Hi everyone! Ive been done with all my appointment for about 1 month or so Im currently waiting for an answer from the insurance company. Im afaid to start getting excited yet, because you never know. While waiting I lost about 25 lbs then gained about 10 of it back while quitting smoking. Im nervous but still hopeful

im waiting to i thought was gonna be a month to wait but the lap band dr told me is up to 3 months till i hear vback from insurance comp,bcbs michigan so that depressed me its been over 3 weeks now,so ill wait with ya jiust hoping they say yes,id be so sad if was no,keeping my fingers crossed,lmk if u hear ok ill wait with ya,id hate to have to wait 3 more moneths on a appeal

Why is your wait so long? Have you called the insurance company to see if they have all of the information that they need? Some where on here I read that the surgens office can cause delays by not sending in all of the required information. Good luck and remember you can always call and see where your referal is at with the insurance.

I called to ask what the hold up was or if they needed anything from me. I was told my office never put the billing code or attached some of the clinical documents. So I had to call the office who told me the insurance company lost them, as if this journey isnt hard enough. So for now I guess I keep waiting.

wow thats sad id be mad,i called bcbs its been a moth anyway i found out my papers got there july 20 and went into review aug 8 so im waiting jope i know soon,gl

I have BCBC-New Jersey and I submitted my paperwork on 7/29/08 and I received my approval yesterday 8/12/08. I am soooooooooooo excited. I called them everyday since Thursday 8/7/08 and FINALLY it was approved on Tuesday 8/12. My surgery date is 9/18 I can't wait!! I am estatic!@!!!!!!!
