I'm reading about upper and lower GI, endocope of lower stomach, sleep apnea, blood work, and more. What is necessary? I've been doing a lot of research in my area, Cincinnati,OH, so if anyone out there in Cincinnati has suggestions I would love to hear from you.

Take Care
You may find more information on your specific insurance on the insurance and financing thread. I don't know why some insurance requires you to undergo yet another 6 months of dieting if you can provide a history of weights from a doctor's office. As far as pre-op testing, that also depends on your insurance and what your doctor feels is necessary based on your comorbidities. I have none, so the only testing I had was upper GI, ECHO, and blood work. The rest are based on your history.

Good luck!

I totally agree with you Gina, congradulation Josh and this site is wonderful. i have also discovered a great product Kyani. it has helped me get all the vitamins that i am not getting because of the band. i had no energy what so ever, now i have more then i know what to do with. also the omega 3s are great with it. helps loose the weight by breaking up the protein. my sister in law was banded also same Dr and the Omega 3s really helped kick the weight loss in again. its wonderful on top of that i now do not take blood pressure meds or thyroid meds and nomore acne meds finally after 20 years and no more anti depression meds. my cholesterol is finally normal besides the band and kyani have totally changed my life and millions of others. i just became a distributor i believe so much in this. also alot of distributors have had GB done. I am a nurse and i totally looked into all the science and background of the product and i far more believe this will help so many people more then perscription meds will. with no side effects. anyway i am so excited i just had to share with everyone if you want more info you can go to gina.mykyanilife.com and read all the nutritions and facts. give it a try..
