New here; thinking about lap band

Hi everyone! As you can see from the thread title, I'm new to the forum and I've just begun to research the lap band system. And when I say "just begun" I mean, I know nothing about it yet! haha

I'm a 24 y.o. stay-at-home mom and half-time student. I have a daughter and a son and a wonderful husband of about 5.5 years.

My BMI is almost at 32. I'm 5'10" and hover around 220. Does anyone else have similar numbers here?

Where have you all found the best info?

Being that your BMI is only around 32 you might have problems finding insurance to pay for it or a doctor to do the procedure. Do you have any health problems due to your weight?
