July Date w/Dr. Geiss in NY...Anyone else?

Hi Everyone,
I'm so excited that I got the call yesterday about my surgery date July2nd with Dr. Geiss on Long Island. Anyone else with Dr. Geiss? Any advice? I look forward to this journey and sharing it with you all and giving any advice I can along the way.

Hi, Hopefully I will have a July date with Dr. Geiss too. The only prerequisite I have left is my upper GI, which I have had to cancel twice now due to referral issues. Luckily I was told by his office that my insurance tends to approve within a day or two for the surgery, so I have my fingers crossed! Good Luck and congratulations on your date!

I had the surg 11/1/07 with Dr Geiss, they were great. Just try and follow the diet after surg. It will be hard getting used to not drinking with your meals. My insurance only covers adjustments for the first 3 months, so check what yours covers.

Do you know how much the fills are after the ones that your insurance cover?

I think they are $400.00.
