Hi from Albuquerque

I was banded 1/16 in Dallas. One week post op and feeling good about the decision. 270/242/175. Last week of liquids was a challege. I had my first mushy food last night. About 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Felt like Thanksgiving. Back to the liquids today, I'm afraid of messing this thing up. More later, Steve

Hi Steve,
My doc told me oatmeal was OK in liquid phase as long as it is thin, I am new at this though, and still in my liquid phase too. I was banded 1/19 in Little Rock

Steve, congrats on your Lap Band. I remember when I had my surgery how food was so rewarding when I moved into mushy stage. Good job on sticking with the diet. Best of luck on your journey.

Hi! I was banded on 1/31 by Dr. Ortiz in Mexico. I just started mushy foods and it's great! How are you doing now?
