I will be banded on Monday, May 15th at the University of Virginia. I am so happy to have found this forum. Getting excited and a little nervous. I have never had any type of surgery before. Here's to all of us!

Hey Marcy,

Make sure we have your name and date on the "May 2006 Band Crew" thread. That's been a great place to compare notes, make new friends and share others experiences.

This is a great site to learn a little more about what to expect after surgery. I was prepared for any of several outcomes.
