Got my date w/ Dr Ortiz.

Ok, I have my date, plane tickets, and paid my deposit. Why I am I now questioning my dr choice. I am so afraid! PLEASE I need to hear good and bad!!!

I was banded with Dr Ortiz on 3/25, fantastic experience all around, I have no complaints from the hotel to the hospital to the care that was received to transport to and from the hotel, you made a very good choice in surgeons.

Thank you so very much. I will be banded on MAY 20, 2008. I think a bout of the nerves just got to me. Please anyone just would love top hear from you!!
OH! What is there to do around the hotel? We may hang out an extra day or so. Or we may go into San Deigo for a night.
Seems odd to not be looking for the good dining options.

not really sure about what to do around the hotel, I got there the night before my surgery and left on day 2 post op at 4am to get to the airport so I was barely there for 48hrs, my mom was with me and she hung out by the pool mainly, if I was looking for stuff to do though I would probably spend the extra time in San Diego

Hi and welcome to LBT! I think a case of nerves is natural before any surgery. Just relax and enjoy your trip, knowing that by the time you are on your way back, you will also be on your way to being a new, thin, healthy woman!! Good luck!

You sound nervous... me too! I hear great things about Dr. Ortiz and I'm sure he'll take wonderful care of you. Some fear is natural. I'm shaking in my boots here as well, so if you need a friend to be nervous with, you know where to find me! ;)
