Best Thing I ever did

I'm two weeks post op and don't regret a thing about my labpand. This is the best thing I could ever have done for myself. Can I get a bump!?

I agree--I think getting my band was by far one of the best things I ever did for just me---I only wish I had done it years ago!
Better late than never tho!!!

5 days- no pain

I had surgery 5 days ago and except for the post-op gassyness - which lasted about 2 days, I had very little (if any)pain. Had surgery on Thursday, back to work on Monday. My stomach rumbles quite a bit, but nothing painful.:clap2:

Yes I agree D.
I finally feel that my yo-yoing is gone for good.
I do miss the volume of food . I miss the buzz I would get from overeating.
I get my buzz from my daily exercise now. I truly believe that I HAD to switch to another addiction. Thank goodness it is exercise not booze for example.
Hopefully not everyone has to do this. I did.

I had my band 3/21/07...still a little sore in the incisional area, but otherwise feel good, energetic, happy ! First few days post-op I had lots of gas, but that is better. Good luck !

I couldn't agree with you any more. I was banded March 6th and I'm so happy with the results so far. I still can't get over the fact that I'm truly full after eating such small amounts of food. I can't wait for the rest of my new life with my band.
