Az Newbie surgery cancelled need new doc??

Hi,
I thought I was going to get a Lap Band on June 26 but the surgeon I chose (he takes my insurance-tricare prime). So to make a long story short, Dr Villares can not perform surgery at the hospital that takes my insurance. I am so upset! I need to find another doc to take my insurance but I can't seem to find one.
Any body else with Tricare that can help me??

Thanks

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. My fear is that my surgeon is that my doctor will tell me he won't take Tricare when I go see him next week even though his staff told me that I'd be the last one to get by.

Go to the Tricare office located at the closest military installation and get a list of doctors and hospitals that take Tricare. Mine provided me with a list though they were all no less than 3 hours away from me. You might have to go to a military facility to get the procedure done too.

I hope you get this resolved soon.
