re: "with out a fill the band is not a tool being used to its full capacity."
HAR!!! Good response.
Since your experience seems so different than mine, I don't know that anything I can say would help you.
My first fill was six MONTHS postOp. And during that time I was learning a TON about my eating habits, my various notions of 'appetite', hunger and satiety.
I was 'growing into my tool', if you will. I began to notice sensations about hunger and lack thereof to which I had never paid any attention.
It was a great learning experience. It was the first time I had any success at making my brain actually take control away from the Dragon in my belly. It was the first time in over 30 years I managed to install a 'Rational' eating program in place of my 'emotional' routine. And the first time I came to appreciate the ongoing advantages of long term discipline regarding my appetite.
Like quack grass or bamboo, rampant continual feasting activities triggered by being 'not full' had rapidly grown out of control and took over my existence.
Congratulations on being a Bandster video star. Did they give you some kind of special deal?
Cheers on your journey.
