I can't feel my port

Hey everyone, I have a question. I will be banded three weeks on Tuesday, I have tried to feel my port now that it is not that painful but can't feel it. Does this mean that something happened to it? Shouldn't I be able to feel it?

I am still swollen, but if I can't feel it how will they when I go for my first fill? My first fill is not till July 29th.

Thanks!

My doctor said that I may not be able to feel my port until I lose some weight. Try to lay down and feel it. It will work whether or not you can feel it.

Gosh, I hope not. I'm only 5 days out, and I can't feel mine.

I had to lose quite a few pounds before I felt mine. I think it was around 20-30 pounds. Now I can really feel it at -50 lbs. Others can also feel it. Keep going you'll get there. Ask your doctor exactly where he put it. The area mine is in has a little bigger scar than the others.
