I'm so glad you are ok. I am (was) a total gum addict - and always swollowed without thinking. I can't trust myself now, so I've stopped buying it - have switched to Eclipse sugar free mints.

wew! good tip. scary stuff. i never thought about that. they should make throat plungers lol. nvm. that's gross. haha

Wow, I had no idea this could be a problem. I usally have 1/2 piece a day. I think I'll agree with Luscious and get some tiny mints. Thanks for the info, and sharing your experience. VERY glad to hear you have relief.

Glad, glad, glad that you got this fixed and that it was as simple as removing your fill. However, you should give up the gum. There have been lots of cases that were serious enough to have to have endoscopy to retreive the gum. It's on the list of things that you CAN'T (or at least shouldn't) do anymore.

Be careful, because we don't want you to be hurt!
