Hey!
I went to Target today and found these. They were less than $3. Funny thing is, they're exactly like Lilliputan-sized versions of beer cups from BBQs/college parties. D'oh!
I then went around to the baby section and they had these little spoons (also come as forks, too), which would go perfectly with the mushy stage (I actually already have some leftover from my kiddos). They're less than $3 for 12 and they last *forever* -- you can put them in the top of the dishwasher.
The whole Take and Toss line (the spoons) has all kind of cool stuff -- little cups/bowls, etc. with lids in small sizes. It's not really obvious from the photo, but the spoons are only about 4" long. They're disposable, but you can also reuse them for quite a while before you end up having to ditch them. Target has them, so do most CVS/Walgreens, etc. I don't shop Walmart, but I assume they stock them as well.

This is too funny. I used to do food demos at Walmart and when I stopped I had HUNDREDS of these little souffle cups left over (that the demo co. supplied) ....so I gave them to our church to use for Bible School, painting, snacks, etc for the kids. Hubbie said when could we possibly EVER need the little cups? I think I've seem them at WalMart..I'll look today.

Hey there, I will have to get those cups! I have some here, but I didn't know that walmart sold them. Also, I sell Tastefully simple ( which I wont be eating for a while) anyway, in my supplies that I need for parties, I have those spoons! If you need any let me know...I can get you a bunch of them for real cheap....let me go see how much they are. Oh my, I just saw the 2 oz cups 250 cups for $3.60 and I can buy the lids that go with it for travel and the spoons are 500 pack for 4.75 so....that sounds like a good deal? Let me know if you want me to help you out? Or anyone else reading this!

Why not just buy the baby spoons? You can get those just about anywhere, and use them like regular silverware.

Stormy, I'd also suggest some cream soups to have on hand, because you won't feel up to shopping for a while. Also, liquid tylenol will be good to have. I was on the liquid hyrdrocodone, but didn't need anything that strong. It made me want to sleep all the time!

I got the SF popsicles the other day. Liquid Tylenol is s great idea and I think the gasex as well. I take my own vitamins that I market and I do understand that I am not to mention that. But I have a powder multi to mix in things as well as a chewable calcium magnesium supplement. I have a list for my last run to the store before Tuesday:
baby spoons, small 2 oz cups, brown sugar substitute. Does any one use that unjury unflavored protein? if so, how is it?

I was banded Feb 15, I am not limited to certain quantities. Maybe after my first fill, which I postponed until May 1, but the doc hasn't said anything about that so far.
But, I am eating less and those little portable bowls would be useful. I got some similar ones for Christmas knowing my surgery was approaching. I carry snacks to work in them, just because I don't need the room of bigger bowls.
