6 weeks post op

Hello every one, i have never posted on this site before, so i greet you and congratulate all of those who have made a fantastic lifestyle change.

I was banded on the 7th of Feb 2006 i weighed 103KG im 5 weeks post op and still have not been tightend. to date i have lost 7kgs, however im starting to fill very hungry and can keep down any type of foods. Is this normal? I am due for my first tightening in one week. would love to hear from anyone that is in the same situation as me or has experienced the same situation. I am very scared that this operation will not work on me. Would love to hear your experiences and views.

Dear going down,
You sound very ready for a fill. I really don't know as I haven't been banded yet, however, after reading the posts, it sounds like that to me. You have done soooooooo well, so pat yourself on the back and call the doc. You shouldn't feel hungery with the band, or so I've been told.

Second fill 6/08/07 - 2.4 cc (didn't work)
Third fill 7/12/07 - who knows? but tighter
Fourth fill 12/27/07 - 2.8 total (seems good)
