'4 oz of what'???

and when?

usually 4 oz of hard protein is too much for me....about 3 oz is pretty good...most often...

4 oz of soup....well....mostly a thick soup will prove that a CUP is plenty...

The other day for lunch I had a cup of tortilla soup and a BLT....simple, tiny BLT....had to take some of it with me, as it was TOO much....

You will be surprised and pleased with how little it actually takes....
to become 'NOT hungry'....

I was banded in Sept. 07 and have had 5 fills and one unfill. Before I had a fill I was hungry all the time and could no more handle a 4 oz meal than apparently you can. Look have no restriction from your band yet. So everything just goes right through. So don't be worrying about 4oz meals until you get some fills and get a little restriction. Concentrate on little bites and allot of chews. Don't watch tv and eat or read the paper and eat. Don't talk and eat at this point. Pay attention to the size and amount of chewing you are doing and after 6 weeks post op get a fill. Thats when everything starts to happen. So don't be discouraged, remember this is a lifestyle change.
