3 days post op

I am 2 days post op and today started protein and clear chicken broth. This afternoon started severe nausea and heartburn. Very uncomfortable, even to rest. Tried gas-x...anyone experience this?

For me, I was sick from the protein shakes. I believe the heartburn could either be the restriction (band) or gas. But not the kind of gas that gas-x can help. Rather the kind that passes in time from surgery. I had bad chest and shoulder pains. Good luck.
