When to stop eating??

Should I stop when I feel "stuck"? I feel like I can eat more than I should but I do get stuck at about every meal - is that my signal??

as hard as it is to train myself, I'm trying something new and foreign:

I eat when I'm hungry, and only when I'm hungry;

I stop when I'm full...not after I'm full...

and when I get that signal from my Angel of the Silicon Fist, yes, I stop....at least for a bit until I can tell what is going on....

I've only had 1 real PB and a couple of small ones....but plenty of those signals....

I saw someone referred to them as "Hard Stop" and "Soft Stop" signals....

that works for me...if I follow the "Soft Stop" I seem to avoid the "Hard Stop" .....even though it could become more of a problem...

2 weeks ago I gobbled down a muffin TOO FAST....and for a while I was drool and spitting and worried Big Trouble was on the way....after about 20 minutes it passed and I considered it a good lesson....

Lauren everyone's signal is different, some may not even have a signal . When you get stuck, how much have you eaten? Sometimes when I get stuck it is in the beginning of my meal within the first few bites, once they pass I seem to be fine. My "stop" signal is I get an ice cream headache. I have heardfrom others getting a subtlesignal like a runny nose or a pain in the shoulder or hiccups. In the beginning it was hard for me to determine when to stop, I finally figured it out after about 5 months.

Lauren, as far into my journey as I am - can you believe that I found myself wondering this same thing just yesterday. Like Michelle said, sometimes it happens after the second bite.... I should stop, but I dont!

As soon as my chest gets a funny feeling, I stop.

I am terrified of a PB
