| Suffering from constipation.....
Before I had my band but even more so afterward I had suffered terribly with constipation. I may not go for a week or longer at a time. I had tried exlax and correctol and all the other laxatives that say they provide "gentle" relief, but I would wake up with the worst cramping I had ever felt in my life and would have diarrhea for the next couple of hours. I guess I did get the result I was looking for huh?
Well, now I have found a product made from a company called Arbonne that is a herbal colon cleanser. It is incredible. One pill before bedtime and I am as regular as a clock. No cramping. No diarrhea. Just normal bathroom trips.
If anyone has any questions or are interested, please contact me. Thanks!

City: Bayside State: New York | Can you get it over the counter or does it have to be prescribed by a doctor? I was suffering from constipation for about a week and a half after my surgery but now I'm going, who knows if it will last. Thank you!

Hi Kim -
Is it safe to use long term? Some products aren't safe for long term use because the body becomes dependent on them. I think that applies more to the chemical products than the fiber ones...
I am assuming you've tried prune juice and all that as well?

No, you do not need a prescription to get this product but you can't get it over the counter either. It has to be ordered through Arbonne. It is a safe product, natural. And yes, I a consultant for Arbonne as a part time job, but if you are interested you don't have to order throught me, you can go to their website. I just offered me if you had any questions. Thanks,

My doc recommended Milk of Magnesia.. took a dose when I went to bed, and the next day I was able to go without being gassy or straining.

That's great. I hopwever never was regular before surgery. I was either stopped up or running over if you know what I mean. Now though I go once a day everyday and I am very thankful. I never like the fiber cereals so I never ate much of them. Good luck to all.
