Stretch Marks and Post Surgery Scars

Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if I could have some suggestions for anything that would help with my stretch marks from gaining weight in certain areas and something that would help minimize my surgery scars. I am African American and we tend to sometimes scar easily...(at least i do). Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Some people have had luck w/ mederma ? You can get it over the counter.
I have it but keep forgetting to use it . That's for the scars.
For the stretch marks, I am not sure what to do about those , I have TONS . I have heard staying hydrated and to keep your skin moisturized .

I hope you get some good responses because I have the same problem. I know there some ok results with lasers but I'm not sure anything gets rid of the real 'die hard' stretch marks.

But drink lots of water while losing weight so you don't get new ones and the fresher old ones may fade. Also, almost everyone's surgery scars (except for the port site) seem to go away completely - try the cream mentioned above.

If anyone has advice - please give it!

I sell AVON and have heard LOTS of testimonies of people who have tried their stretch mark cream and absolutely SWEAR by it, so I figured I'd give it a try. Good thing it's 100% guaranteed, so if it doesn't work, I can return it. I will let you all know how it goes.
