| Some help please
I'm not computer literate and see posts that contain photos.
How? It's like in their signature or something because it's in every post.
So many have asked for a before and after shot...I finally am brave enough....but how?
Thanks!

One easy way is got to Photo Bucket (photobucket.com) and you can join for free. You download the photos you want to share there then it will convert them to code for you. You cut and paste that code on to your signature here and wa-la! Just make sure when you download to photo bucket that you make it a smaller size or when you paste it here it will be visually huge.
As for tickers, you can go to tickerfactory.com and set up a ticker you like there...it is easy and they walk you through it. Same as photo bucket, you get the code at the end to cut and paste in your signature then you are done. I hope this helps.

In my case I have professional pictures of my cats that I scanned onto my computer and saved as a file. To do personal photos you need either a scanner, or a printer that also scans. Once the pictures are saved, you can upload them to all sorts of things. My cats are microchipped so I uploaded their pictures to HomeAgain and have ID cards for them with their chip numbers and photos. For here I went to Edit Signature and clicked on Browse, brought up the file my photos were in, and selected the picture I wanted. Then I saved my signature so the picture appears on each message I post. I have 4 cats, so I periodically change the picture. That is a little trickier. You have to delete the one that is there, then pick out the new one and save the signature again.

I do webhosting and sites as a hobby. If you need space or help, let me know.
I am happy to provide upload space to anyone who needs it.

This picture is uploaded from Photobucket (it is my niece, she was Clara in her dance company's performance of The Nutcracker this past Christmas - just grabbed the first available picture to try this out, cuz I've never posted pictures on this forum either. I opened up the picture in Photobucket, right clicked on it, copied the link ("properties"), then clicked on the little photo icon above when I was writing this entry, which opened up a little box where I pasted the photo properties into it. Or, you can enter it manually. Where you want the picture to appear in your post, type .

Well, tried something else and it's just blank.
It's thru Paint....bmp file, not the jpeg. Can't figure out how to change the type of file.

Oh Grace, congratulations! You look wonderful! You've also done just about exactly what I want to do.... go from 255 to 130. What an inspiration you are!
