Hi all!!!

Thanks for all your support and encouragement!!! i'm really very touched! Didnt have the energy nor the mood to log in the last few days but i'm feelin much better now! Thanks to all ur concern! I'm really glad i found u all and this wonderful forum!
I was seriously depressed the last few days and it dosent help when i couldnt find my doctor. In the end i visited the hospital again. The medication that they gave me for gas and pain wasnt working and another surgeon gave me some stronger medicine. Its not called gas-x here. But this time the medication helped me and i'm feeling better now!
I'm going thru this day by dayand hopefully everything will turn out well. I can tolerate liquids better and has started drinking clear soups.
I will do my best and be strong and fight this battle! i already lost 8kg!
Thanks again everyone!!!

:)

Everyday that passes is one day you getting to feel normal once again. Take this time and heal and take it slow. I freaked out the first couple of weeks but when I would get the fleeting thought I would do something to keep my mind off of what I had done. I know it sounds weird but it works for me to distract myself.
Take Care:)

Knew you could hang in there

I just knew from the sound of your letter that if you could just hang in there, and turn to members here for support, that you would begin to feel better. You will definitely feel great once the weight starts coming off. I was worried about you because we didn't hear back from you. I hear the first few weeks are rough, but you are well on your way to making it girlfriend. I wish you the very best. Give a holler to those who have been banded, and us wannabees that are learning what it's like. There will always be someone here that has experienced something you are going through. It is a big step you took and psychologically you have to go day by day. You are doing so great. We are all very proud of you. Come back and see us often. I'm not banded yet, but expecting to be in about Feb., and learning from the great people here what to expect. They are a great group and very supportive. You aren't in this alone. Some are fighting to get our insurance approved; some are just banded; and some have been banded for a long time and are a great source of info for you.

Good luck to you sweetie on your quest.

You go girl! Back at 'em I'm glad to hear it! One day at a time IS all you can do. I've only been banded 3 weeks, but everyday is different so far and I just keep moving in a positive direction in both how I feel and how I now treat my body. Focus on healing and taking it easy. You're not supposed to be 100% right now so allow yourself the permission & space you need in this time that your body is going through such HUGE changes! Glad you're feeling better!
