Protein shake recommendations?

I am just starting solid foods and 2 weeks away from my first fill. I am very tired of making my own powdered protein shakes and would like suggestions for decent tasting pre-mixed protein shakes.

I'll offer up my favorite: Worldwide Brand Protein Shakes available at Trader Joe's, GNC. 35 grams of protein, 3 g of carbs and 160 calories. Can anybody recommend any others? My goal is 100 grams of protein so I need some high powered stuff.

Thanks for this great website and any replies would be appreciated.

Hi Pbandit,

My doctor recommended Isopure, which you can get at GNC. They have 40 grams of protein in a 20 oz bottle and are pretty tasty. I am having a problem getting in enough protein (still on mushies and 3+ weeks away from my first fill) and they seem to do the trick.

Good luck!

Denise

I went to GNC. They have a great protein shake with over 20 grams of protein. Good luck.

As far as pre made shakes, I enjoyed the Adkins Advantage French Vanilla. I still would blend it with some frozen berries but it was good all by it's self and had about 35 grams of protein.
