Pre-surgery weight loss
For those that need to lose weight before surgery, look into the BioEnterics Intragastric Balloon (B.I.B.).
It is a 9 month stomach balloon that costs about $3500. It does not require surgery.

It's another Inamed product - their newest thing. You can research on their web-site. I don't think anybody's insurance will pay for it, though.
