North Georgia Doctors (band removal)

Hi everyone,

I moved to Dahlonega back in July and have not had anything done re: Lap Band since I left Jacksonville. I also have not lost any weight so I am seriously considering having it removed.
My question is, does anyone know of a Doctor (good one) near my area who will take someone else's patient?
I was originally banded by Dr. Ortiz and hate to have to go all the way back to Mexico for this.

lost down to 185, now back up to where I started.
I have a lot of medical problems that come into play, so I think it's best just to have it removed.

I just got my band and it is just starting to work (2 fills). Why would you get rid of it. Just get it filled so you can lose weight. The hard part was the surgery and you are done with that so why get it removed?
