I am reading "Weight Loss Surgery with the Adjustable Gastric Band: Everything You Need to Know Before and After Surgery to Lose Weight Successfully", and I am finding it very useful. It is by Dr. Robert Sewell. He is a surgeon that has a practice that handles LAP-BAND^® cases. There is quite a bit of information that was given to me by my doctor, but it is nice having a book to reference. It also has stories and pictures from some of his patients.

2. Laproscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding: Achieving Permanent weight loss with minimally invasive surgery
3. Exodus from Obesity: The Guide to Long-Term Success After Weight Loss Surgery

I have read the following:

Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies
LAP-BAND^® Companion Handbook

Both books are very informative and answers all types of questions you may have. I may look into a couple of the books mentioned above also.

To be honest, the "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" was very informative, especially if you are just getting started. Has insurance information, diet information, etc.
