If you are thinking about cost, then I do recommend my Surgeon, Dr, Kirshenbaum. He charges $9950 for the surgery, preop consultations, postop care for 3 months and his fills are $15 after the 3 months. He has pioneered some lapriscopic surgeries and has done many lapbands. Here is the link

I chose him because it is close to utah and airline tickets are fairly inexpensive to denver. I am most likely going to get my first fill from him and then find someone closer to home.
I did look into the surgery being in Mexico, but my concern was trying to find a doctor that would do fills and post op care in the US if I had problems.
