I'm back...

I am back at work after my banding on the 9th! WOW!!! What a week it has been. Just reading over some of the recent posts, I am glad to find out why I have been crying over everything I see on TV. Oprah had me crying all week.

I feel like a million bucks! I have already in one week lost 17 pounds!!!!!!!!!
I am doing the BIGGEST happy dance in the world.

We are going out for Mexican food on Sunday for my dad's bday... I am on the mushie stage... what do you guys suggest I eat?

Thanks!!!

Refired beans and cheese....it will be the best tasting stuff ever. Actually I am having that for lunch w/ some spicy chicken stripes.

JohnDeereGal, welcome back!!! By the way, you just had your surgery on the 9th, and you are already at the mushies stage? I am so jealous. I wish these doctors would all follow the same guidelines for the after surgery diet! I am still on liquids until the 21st, and I feel as if I am going to die. Well, CONGRATULATIONS on your surgery as well as your BIG weight loss!!! :) I've only lost 7 pounds since my surgery. I suppose everyone is different.

Welcome Back! I would have refried beans and some cheese, little sour cream and some salsa on it....I would usually make mine like a 7 layer dip. It should fill you up pretty well, just take it slow. Good luck!
